Links between AI and Machines typify innovations of technologies to bring various changes to our current society. Rapid innovations always would make both boon and menace in the community. Therefore we must offer a better direction to this revolution of technologies.
Advancing technologies appear in various swings in our daily life. For instance, in controlling due to AI, hundreds and thousands of robots work in a vast warehouse with only a few humans. Moreover, a driverless automated vehicle will pick you up when you call a taxi. Additionally, the customer care representative you speak with on the phone can be a bot that converses fluently. These are not future events but what has already been beginning in some areas, and they will expand rapidly.
However, many research firms predict rapidly advancing technologies will replace much human work in the coming decades. There is a strong likelihood that this would raise the unemployment rate.
Unstoppable evolutions of technologies transform the whole of our society. It means many humans will lose jobs; in contrast, the world’s population will continue to grow to around 10 billion by the 22nd century. On the other hand, some owners of AI and machines and relevant businesses would get colossal wealth. The rising unemployment and economic disparities would hasten and accelerate this seeming occurrence of societal disarray.
Essentially, the tasks of technological innovations should make human life more convenient and enriching. However, as the history of 3-times the industrial revolutions show ever before, the change is accomplished with pain to people who couldn’t adjust. In contrast, past industrial revolution processes have created new human jobs using technology. The 4th technological revolution already underway will create massive unemployment that may be more unable to cope with the changes than ever before. The progress of uncrewed operations in pursuit of profits in many industries will expand that.
Consequently, we need to restructure the society system to relieve the suffering of technological innovation. It implies that humans must make an effort to transform their mindsets beyond preconceptions and prejudice. If we could succeed in this strategy, human culture could reach the next upper level by resolving the disparity, poverty, etc., through evolving technologies.
