Why are more people interested in science news?
Science indicates that we have a promising future. Science frequently presents cutting-edge innovations and discoveries that inspire optimism for the future as well as our curiosity about the unknown and wonder. People are drawn to science news for this reason.

On the other hand, the survey found that Americans are most interested in news about their local community, with 85% saying they’re interested in it. It is a problem that affects people’s daily life, can lead to complaints and discontentment, and even provoke anger.

In light of these two trends, science news conveys a bright future (full of hope and surprises), while regional and political report presents the current reality (discontent and anger). However, light and shadow are always one. Science of technology may deprive people of their jobs and lead us toward a society of poverty and discrimination. Conversely, new political and regional systems may emerge and eradicate them.

This research shows that most people have both hopes for the future and dissatisfaction with reality. In a modern society where we can obtain much information, we must remember that unconditional approval or criticism means suspending our thinking. It is necessary to ascertain the facts, think of your volition, and make judgments. Instead of criticizing politics and technology, let’s devise concrete alternatives and amendments before the earth is irredeemable.

It will be possible to make decisions that gradually advance science and society.
